Previous winners of the BAFTA Rising Star Award have included Kristen Stewart, Shia LaBeouf, James McAvoy Eva Green and Tom Hardy so you know the 2013 nominees must have done good work to get such recognition.

The winner will be announced at the 2013 BAFTA ceremony, which will take place in London on 10 February 2013 and we think voting is going to be extremely tight.

But one thing's for sure, we're the real winners at the end of it all because the nominees all gave us these brilliant flicks to watch!

Elizabeth Olsen - Liberal Arts

More than just the younger sister of the Olsen twins, Elizabeth Olsen has proved she is one of the most exciting new faces in Hollywood and it's clear to see in her film, Liberal Arts.

Elizabeth is fun, fresh and shows she can handle a more light-hearted role compared to her part in Martha Macy May Marlene.

Juno Temple - Killer Joe

Juno Temple already feels like an established British actress as she's risen from heights to heights since her debut performance alongside Cate Blanchett in Notes On A Scandal.

In Killer Joe, Juno is all grown up and up to all sorts alongside Matthew McCounaghey and Emile Hirsch in the film a young man who puts a hit out on his evil mother in order to collect the insurance and clear his debt.

Suraj Sharma - Life Of Pi

The only guy in the line up, Suraj has wowed audiences around the world in his debut flick, Life Of Pi!

Anyone who learns to swim, acts in a mostly CGI environment all for his first ever film - and all before he's even gone to university - deserves to get a bit of praise.

His portrayal of Pi in the epic tale is one you can't afford to miss.

Andrea Riseborough - W.E.

A star in her own right after a series of impressive performances, Andrea Riseborough was cast in the Madonna directed flick, W.E. were she stunned critics and audiences alike with her performance. It almost feel wrong to call her a "rising star".

Alicia Vikander - Anna Karenina

Alicia Vikander may not have had the lead role in Anna Karenina but she managed to steal some of the attention from Keira Knightley with her gorgeous portrayal of Kitty.

Commanding full attention whenever she was on screem, we think Alicia is a force to be reckoned with!
