Funny woman and Tina Fey's bestie Amy Poehler has signed her first book deal, set to be released sometime next year.
Fresh off her success presenting the Golden Globes, the book has been described by publisher It Books as, 'an illustrated, non-linear diary full of humour and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.'
Poehler will hope to emulate the success of her friend Fey who has sold over two million copies of her autobiographical book, Bossypants.
Female comedy writers are the hot ticket in Hollywood at the moment, as Girls creator Lena Dunham also settled a $3.7 million advance in October 2012 for a collection of humorous essays.
Keep up the good work ladies!
