Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have opted to spend their first Christmas as a married couple with Kate's family in Berkshire.
The Queen and other royals traditionally spend the day at Sandringham in Norfolk, and usually make a public appearance on Christmas Day for the morning service at the local church.
Kate and Wills have decided to have a more private Christmas however, and a spokesman for St James's Palace says they have "the approval of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh".
They aren't off the hook, though! The royal couple will attend Sandringham later in the week.
