Kristen Stewart has revealed that she will star opposite Ben Affleck in the new comedy flick, Focus.

Speaking to HuffPost Entertainment, she said, "I can confirm that rumour. It's a comedy. I'm really excited about it. We start shooting in April."

Deadline previously reported that the Kristen had entered talks to appear in the movie as "an inexperienced con artist who hooks up with the more seasoned Affleck."

The Warner Bros. production will apparently be written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who co-wrote the much loved hit Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Other reports suggest that the new role could involve Stewart filming some "passionate" love scenes with Ben Affleck.

Ben has been quoted as saying that he hoped the star would take the role because she's "terrific".

Until then, Kristen has admitted that she's on the lookout for a "micro-project" to work on before then seeing, as "April is kind of a way away."

Do you think Kristen and Ben would work well together?
