Damn you Miranda Kerr. We could just about deal with you being a stunningly beautiful super mum, Victoria Secret model and the wife of Orly Bloom, but then you have to show us a picture of you reading award winning literature too!

Head exploding from jealousy. We think so.

Miranda Tweeted this picture of herself reading (complete with sexy specs and vintage waves) New York Times bestseller, Just Kids, by Patti Smith.

The model also commented, "One third in and loving JUST KIDS #pattismith #legend ❤"

This autobiography follows American singer-songwriter Patti Smith and her relationship with her friend, partner and colleague, Robert Mapplethorpe, who died of AIDS related complications in 1989.

The pair met in New York in the late 1960s and relied on each other for security. Years later when Robert came out as gay, the pair continued to love, support and inspire each other and vowed to spend the rest of their lives creating and collaborating.

This really is an incredible read, so if you've not got a gorgeous chandelier to light the pages like Miranda, a good old bedside lamp will just have to do.

Sexy glasses and full make-up optional.

Just Kids by Patti Smith, £6.29, amazon.co.uk.
