The theme for X Factor this week was Guilty Pleasures and unfortunately Ella Henderson's take on the Grease classic You're The One I Want wasn't enough to get her through to the semi-finals.
The night started with the finalist's singing Young by Tulisa and she seemed very happy to be represented by the contestants. Apparently the producers had to scrap their original plans to sing Last Friday Night by Katy Perry after Jahmene said he wasn't comfortable singing the track.
Former X Factor contestant and now Xtra Factor host Olly Murs did a cheeky performance of his new track, Troublemaker, before Alicia Keys lit up the stage with her new single Girl On Fire.
But then it was time to get down to business and the whole arena was left stunned when it was revealed that Ella Henderson and James Arthur were named as the two acts with the least votes from the public.
Ella went first with an emotional rendition of If You're Not The One by Daniel Bedingfield
James Arthur made the gutsy decision to sing Falling by Alicia Keys (while she was in the building) but he definitely held his own with his version.
The judges were split with Tulisa and Louis Walsh choosing to save Ella while Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow backed James Arthur.
So once again the decision was taken to deadlock and unfortunately Ella was out of the competition.
Can you believe Ella is gone? Are you scared more favourites will leave the show before the final?
