The weather's too depressing for our liking so we're going to get a cosy blanket, a cup of hot chocolate and distract ourselves with these DVDs...

A Warrior's Heart

It's weird to see Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene playing love interest but we have to realise it's time for them to cut loose from Twilight and do their own things.

The pair star in this coming of age film about a cocky La Crosse player who has to move to a new town when his Marine father gets relocated to the East Coast.

Starting in his new school helps him meet the beautiful Brooklyn, but she happens to be the La Crosse coach's daughter!

While Connor manages to help the team win matches, while tragedy stop him and the team from achieving their dreams?

2 Broke Girls

Max Black (Kat Dennings) is a broke waitress living in New York with her new co-worker Carline Channing (Beth Behrs).

Caroline's dad was caught stealing money and is in jail, leaving Caroline without a penny to her name and only the clothes and bling on her back.

The two start working together at a Brooklyn restaurant and soon Caroline realises that Max can make some pretty awesome cupcakes. With her private schooling and family smarts, she convinces Max that they should start their own cupcake business.

Dara O'Briain - Craic Dealer

If he's not making us cackle our head of on Mock The Week then you can find Dara O'Brian touring the country with all his funny talk.

We've seen his show live and it was brilliant. Make sure you don't miss out on one of the funniest comedy tours of the year!

Craic Dealer, £12.99, amazon.co.uk

Once Upon A Time

All the fairytale characters you've ever read about (or seen in a Disney film) are happily living their lives in their fairytale land, when the wicked Queen Regina spells them all into the real world where magic doesn't exist.

To add insult to injury she wipes everyone's memories, so Snow White becomes Mary Margaret Blanchard and her devilishly handsome Prince Charming becomes ordinary David Nolan.

Enter Emma (Jennifer Morrison from House) who gave her son Henry up for adoption when he was just a baby. When Henry arrives back in her life unannounced saying he needs her help to solve a magical curse in Storybrooke, the pair set off to solve the riddles and save the day.

Once Upon a Time Series 1 is available now on DVD, £23.20, amazon.co.uk

The Pact

Halloween might be a distant memory but if you still want a few scares then The Pact is perfect for you.

Following the death of her mum, Annie is called by her former drug addict sister to come back home. When she arrives, her sister is nowhere to be found and a supernatural force seems to be at work in the house.

Do not watch this alone!

The Pact, £9.89, amazon.co.uk
