Frankie Cocozza has gone on a full rant about his time on The X Factor claiming that mentors don't get to pick songs and that producers set up acts to get headlines.
Frankie was forced to leave the show after admitting to snorting cocaine but he's decide to explain what really went on behind the scenes.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Frankie said, "I feel sorry for the kids who are on that show now. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.
"All that hype about me being a party animal. I was laughing at the other contestants because they weren't allowed out of the X Factor house and I was.
"I was getting VIP passes to all the top clubs. I never stopped to wonder why they let me do that, but then it became clear - I think I was being put across as the bad boy on the show.
"I would tell them where I was going and wherever I arrived there would be 50 paps waiting for me. It was like they had been tipped off.
"And X Factor even filmed me in a club one night for the show, so I thought I was doing what they wanted."
Speaking about the cocaine scandal, he said, "I had done a terrible performance and went out to party afterwards. An X Factor press officer, who was there to stop stories getting out, told me a pap had said there were pictures of me being naughty.
"I told him the truth, I went out and hired an apartment, then went back to the apartment and snorted a line of coke in the toilets.
"There was no way anyone could have known as my cousin was guarding the door. It was the only cocaine I had ever done in my life. I just wanted to know what it felt like.
"It was stupid. The next day I was called in to see all the bosses and they said: 'You've got to go'.
"They'd called my mum in and everything. I said: 'Show me the proof and I will walk.' They went: 'If you don't go, you won't be allowed on the tour.' I thought, when else am I going to get to perform at Wembley?
"So I agreed to admit it. It was awful. My old auntie said: 'I'll pay for you to go to rehab.' I was like: 'I've only had one line'.
"I was out on my a***. I feel like they threw me to the wolves. I was hiding in my bedroom at home, with our house surrounded by paparazzi.
"I feel like they didn't give me any support, they just cut me off completely. There was no aftercare at all. I said: 'You knew that I trusted you.'
"I wouldn't have done anything without their say-so. 'You were all really nice yesterday, what's going on?' If it wasn't for my family I could have just ended up crawling into a ball and killing myself."
He added the X Factor were "making out I was Pete Doherty".
When asked about the latest rumours of Christopher Maloney being a diva, he added, "It's all hype. It's just a job for them. They do what they're told. The stuff last year with Misha B really shocked me.
"Louis and Tulisa accused her on-air of being a bully. It was f****** ridiculous. I liked her. Everybody on the show liked Misha B. I don't think she was a bully to anybody.
"When Louis and Tulisa said that stuff, everybody looked at each other to say: 'Where the hell did that come from?' Misha was proper devastated.
"She was only 19. Mud like that sticks. I don't think they should have done it. But they need the headlines, don't they?
"The ratings are tanking now. I saw the stuff about Christopher Maloney being a diva, who knows if that's true?"
Frankie said that neither he or Gary Barlow got to choose the songs he performed on the show
He said, "They wouldn't let me choose my own songs. Gary Barlow didn't choose my songs. He used to say, 'Come on, mate, you can do this s***.' If it had been up to him, he would have let me sing one of the songs I suggested.
"As far as I'm aware, the producers give them (the judges) a list of four songs to choose from."
Whoa, this is looking bad for the show.
