Before Ri-Ri was picked for the gig, the Spice Girls were being considered for the role...we can't imagine VB in Stratford Westfield shopping mall, can you?

Westfield White City - Taylor Swift

Head down to Westfield White City if you want to catch Taylor singing 'We are never getting back together' and switching on the Christmas lights. She's in town to promote her new album Red so expect plenty of pop-country tunes and screaming teenagers.

But you better get planning now, because Robbie is turning the lights on tonight (5th November)! Expect dire traffic, nightmarish tubes and lots of screaming Take That fans.

Rumour Alert: According to the gossip mill, X Factor contestant Rylan Clark is being tipped to turn on the lights in Essex's Lakeside Shopping Centre. We wonder what he's got planned for his 'performance'...?

Matt Baker and Alex Jones from BBC's The One Show will be turning on the Christmas lights in Bath as part of a live TV broadcast.
