While most people only know her for being a Hollywood wild child, Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she wants to be remembered for her work not her life mistakes.
The 26-year-old actress says she's accepted her mistakes and is ready to get rid of her bad reputation by focusing on her acting.
She said, "Substance abuse is a disease which doesn't go away overnight.
"I've worked hard to overcome it. I want to be remembered for the work I've done, rather than the accidents I've gotten into.I have to prove myself again.
"I don't want people to have that reason to be scared any more."
Lindsay also wants to help make a change for the lives of others and she revealed that she would love to set up orphanages for underprivileged and abused children.
She said, "Life is full of risks anyway, why not take them?"
"I'm not that girl from Freaky Friday any more! 'I'm a real adult!"
Okay Lindsay, we hear you. Now just prove that you really can change...
Do you think it's too late for Lindsay to be taking seriously as an actress?
