The Voice UK has had a dramatic increase in viewership since the arrival of Kylie Minogue.
It seems the BBC is confident in the shows potential to grip viewers by introducing a Strictly Come Dancing style spin-off show to be aired Monday-Friday.
The show is set to have It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball at the helm as they follow the contestants between Saturday shows on BBC2.
The Voice has previously come under fire for the involvement, or lack thereof, of the mentors in the work of their team members.
Perhaps this show is an attempt to lay any of these claims to rest.
However, with no winner of the show having any commercial success it seems to be a bit risky. Will anyone really be watching?
We think it seems like a last ditch attempt to get viewers to get to know contestants as well as we do X Factor hopefuls during those series.
