The pair have been appearing on the red carpet side by side, looking more in love than ever and it seems Blake was needed to play the supportive wife.
After the film was aired he apparently skipped the afterparty in favour of a quiet bite with his other half.
Although this is similar to what the pair chose to do after the Met Gala Ball, this time it was apparently down to Ryan's shame over the terrible reviews his film received.
"Ryan definitely seemed a little on edge. Wouldn't be surprised if he skipped out on his party because the film is getting terrible reviews," a source told US Weekly.
He "seemed preoccupied on his phone" but remained "really affectionate" while she comforted him.
It "looked like Blake was trying to cheer him up a few times. She rubbed his arm like she was consoling him and kept whispering in his ear," the source added.
