Loved for her bold prints, designer Mary Katrantzou has now turned her hand to bridal and created her first wedding dress.

Fresh from her collaboration with adidas, the designer was commissioned to make a bespoke wedding gown for Carolina Gonzalez-Bunster, a former financial analyst and cofounder of the Walkabout Foundation, explains Style.com.

The result was a racerback wedding dress made with 120 meters of chiffon muslin, layered in big ruffled skirt.

"When we designed Carolina's dress, we started sketching options and then incorporating elements of designs she was interested in, but the dress constantly evolved in every fitting," Katrantzou said.
