Parts of Britain have come to a standstill today as up to eight inches of snow fell overnight.
South eastern areas of England, Norfolk and Yorkshire are amongst the worst affected, causing traffic chaos and hundreds of schools closed. Another 8 inches is expected in parts of the country later today, on what is traditionally the busiest time for travelling home for the holidays.
Temperatures on Friday will be below freezing across much of the UK and could drop to 23F (-5C) in Wales and south-west England and as low as 15.8F (-9C) in Scotland.
Here at Handbag.com Towers an intrepid few have made it into the office, but have you ever used the snow as an excuse to have a duvet day away from the office?
