Big The story: In true fairytale romance style Carrie first met Mr Big when he stopped on the street to help her pick up a condom strip that had fallen out of her purse, and the rest, as they say, was history. Pros: You couldn't say Big was boring; although some might argue that's more of a con than a pro. And, he definitely couldn't be described as Mr nice guy. They say opposites attract and Carrie and Big are chalk and cheese. He's arrogant to her self-deprecating, old school to her fashion-led freshness, and calm to her quirky. Although he didn't always show it, Big did care. He made sure she got to the hospital when Miranda was giving birth, in a horse-drawn carriage none-the-less, and chased Carrie to Paris to tell declare his undying love for her. Cons: With his massive phobia to anything commitment-related, Carrie had a huge task in trying to tame Big. He's far from the perfect man; he's arrogant, cocky, and has a hard time expressing his emotions. But whoever said the course of true love runs smooth? Handbag.com's verdict: Big's the one we're not too sure about. In the first Sex And The City movie he left Carrie at the alter and she still forgave him.
