A judge has ordered Chris Brown to do a further 1,000 hours of community service after the Los Angeles County district attorney discovered discrepancies in the singer's previous community service reports.

The performer was originally given community service for brutally attacking his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, but legal experts believe he shouldn't get 'credit' for the 180-hours he's already done.

According to insiders, the D.A. believes Brown knowingly violated his probation by submitting fake reports about how much community work he'd actually done. Basically, they think he lied!

The court gave one example that the singer headed off to Mexico on holiday despite 'officially' saying he was picking up rubbish in Virginia.

Say it with us. What. An. Idiot.

Luckily for Chris, his recent hit-and-run case was dismissed, so at least that's one more criminal issue he's not going to have to deal with.

So, now the pressure's really on for Chris...what will he choose? Will he clear rubbish from the motorways, pick up empty coke cans on the beach or work on graffiti removal. Choices, so many choices...

Although he was originally allowed to complete his service hours in his home state of Virginia, he doesn't have that luxury this time. The judge has ordered he be supervised by L.A. County officials. D'Oh.

Sorry Chris, but if you do the crime you've gotta' do the time.
