Keeping her clothes on in a Playboy magazine interview and photo shoot, Dunham was asked what she'd do if she woke up with the body of a Victoria's Secret body....
'I'd be really disoriented and wonder what had happened in the night,'replied Dunham. 'I don't think I'd like it very much. There would be all kinds of weird challenges to deal with that I don't have to deal with now.
'I don't want to go through life wondering if people are talking to me because I have a big rack. Not being the babest person in the world creates a nice barrier. The people who talk to you are the people who are interested in you. It must be a big burden in some ways to look that way and be in public.'
On a day when men voted Miranda Kerr to have the best overall beauty when it comes to body parts – Dunham's comments, worryingly, are almost shocking.
In this celeb figure obsessed time, who wouldn't want to wake up looking like Miranda Kerr? Well, actually – we're with Lena.
It can't be a picnic being a lingerie model. As Lena says, your personality becomes secondary to your looks and then there's the sheer pressure of it all. Six day a week vigorous workouts, only eating strict health food, all while downing Noni juice. We're sleepy just thinking about it all. There is a reason there's only about twenty Victoria's Secrets Angels in the world (we don't know exactly how many - give us a break. We just said we were tired).
We think we're happier eating pie and not having to brush our hair thanks.
Dunham added though that she might try it out for a day for one reason, 'That said, I probably would want to see if I could get free food at restaurants.'
Lena for president.
What do you think? Should we all be a bit happier in our own skin?
