Nothing causes a row like the 'does my bum look big in this question', so it's no surprise that commenting on a girlfriend/wife's weight has been voted the most unforgivable male faux pas.
According to a new survey by professional hair retailer, Fabriah.com, 52% of us get angry when our partners criticise our body shape in clothes (even if we've asked them to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth).
Forgetting an important anniversary or birthday was a close second with 19% of women saying it was unforgivable.
In third place was failing to notice a radical new haircut or a brand new dress, while fourth place was reserved for back-seat cooking.
11% of women revealed they would be devastated if their partner criticised their cooking ability, but we say if he doesn't like it he can cook his own meal!
Finally, the poll showed that the fifth most annoying male faux pas is refusing to ask for directions, seek advice or read a map when lost. Long car journeys have always been a recipe for disaster...which is why we recommend getting the train!
Here are a few more 'unforgivable faux pas' from the Handbag team...
+Ditching a date or romantic evening out so he can watch the football down the pub
+Making sarcastic comments about your friends
+Or even worse, admitting he fancies your friends
+Or even more dreadful, admitting he thinks your friend is better looking than you
+Moaning all the way through a shopping trip, but then dragging your round River Island men's section for three hours
+Not being super ridiculously polite to your parents
+Refusing to see how wonderful Ryan Gosling is in The Notebook....
Okay, maybe we've gone too far now!
