Adam Levine did not call up his ex girlfriends to apologise for his behaviour before his upcoming wedding, and neither should he.

Occasionally the planets align in a certain way which makes us agree with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.

The singer is due to get married to Victoria's Seccret model Behati Prinsloo in July, and recently set the record straight on a bogus story which claimed he had called all his ex-girlfriends to apologise for being a douchebag.

Like some sort of pre-wedding 12 steps programme.

"Its so selfish and arrogant to call. 'Sorry, it didn't work out between us because you weren't good enough for me.' It's kind of f---ed up to do that actually," he told Howard Stern in an interview.

Well said Adam. A quick poll round our office uncovered that this is not an uncommon thing to happen mind.

Please engaged people of the world stop this madness. There is no reason to 'clear the air' with exes before you get married (likewise exes, stay in the past where you belong. No one wants a pre-wedding coffee to drag up the past.)

And for the record, Adam didn't call us either. He knows about what.

Would you call your exes before your wedding day?
Yes. I would like to clear the air before starting a new chapter0.00%
Maybe the ones I like0.00%
Don't be insane! Why drag the past into your future? 100.00%
