Have your say on the Iran protests here

iran protestsProtests are continuing to cause chaos in Iran following the disputed elections in the country, which have seen at least 17 people killed and countless others wounded.

Reports from Tehran suggest that hundreds of men armed with clubs have been paid to break up the protests, which are now in their second week. Iranian authorities are now blaming the Western media attention for inciting the street violence, and are now planning diplomatic action against Western states in retaliation.

The media attention in the area has increased since a video was posted on Youtube showing a 26-year-old female student dying of a gunshot wound in the street. Neda Soltani has now become a world-wide focal point for the protests.

What do you think? Are the protests in Iran, and the media attention, making the situation worse?
