American Express 10-10-10 is a landmark culinary event that’s been created in celebration of the partnership between the London Restaurant Festival and American Express ®.

Taking place on 10 October 2010, American Express 10-10-10 will see ten celebrated chefs from outside London joining forces with ten of their equally renowned London peers to offer a unique collaborative menu for Sunday lunch.

To celebrate the event, Michelin Starred chef Bruno Loubet, will be coming into the Handbag.com office on the 7th October 2010 @ 2.30pm for a live webchat to answer all of your questions about why he’s involved in this landmark event, recipe tips and advice and what it’s like to be a chef at one of London’s top restaurants!

Bruno has worked as a chef in some of the most renowned restaurants in Europe and Australia, earning Michelin stars and countless industry awards. As well as finding the time to write two recipe books, he has also made many TV appearances for programmes such as Junior Masterchef.

Please leave your question in this thread NOW and don’t forget to join the live chat here at 2.30pm on 7th October!

Thanks,

Hi Bruno,

Not sure this in the theme of the web chat, but hey ho!

I am cooking Christmas dinner for 15 people this year, I love cooking for my family but find it a little stressful when trying to plan what to do first and how to keep it all warm with such little worktop and oven space,

Do you have any suggestions on how to serve it all on time and hot!!!???

Thanks

Bonjour, i'm a big fan of yours and also think you're lovely!

I wondered....do you actually do the cooking at home? i know a lot of professional chefs would rather put their feet up when they get home rather than get back in the kitchen?

Also what chefs do you admire and what are your top three simple cooking tips? (i'm a bit of a novice and need all the help i can get!)

Ta muchly

Morning!

I love your food and your restaurant, what do you think is it about dining out that people enjoy so much?

Hi Bruno,

What is your favourite dish/food?

I love trying new things and had pigeon for the first time recently - it was really good. It's funny how some foods are more common and accepted than others!

Oh and that reminds me - is there any food you don't like or refuse to eat?

Thanks so much - I'm a massive fan!

Ali xx

Hi Bruno,

It must be SO stressful being a chef at a top restaurant (it seems so on all the TV programmes I've watched). How do you cope with the pressure? How do you find time for your personal life and make sure you've got a good work/life balance?

Thanks!

Hi Bruno,

Me again, just two more questions whilst I still remember as it will prove useful ahead of my dinner party this weekend: what is the best cooking tip you’ve ever been given and have you ever had any kitchen disasters?

Thanks!

Just thought of one more! Do you have any hobbies or anything you do in your personal life other than cooking that you think enriches your life?
