Hi

I have 2 boys already both born by c sections, first was emergancy second planned. One second section consultant commented on my uterus being paper thin but said she had repaired. We now want another baby but the doctor is trying to put me of saying horrible thing to me such as i could hermoriage and die and live my 2 boys with out a mum. I know there are risk but surely i would be monitored if the risk was so high...

as anyone else every had this experience and what did you do?

I am waiting for an appointment to discuss with a gynae

Hi, this isn't an experience I've had and I'm new on the board but you've hit the nail on the head there by saying "surely they'd monitor me if I'm high risk?"

They don't want to have to monitor you. The NHS doesn't have unlimited funds and you already have two kids so they don't see your wanting a third as a priority. This doesn't necessarily mean the doctor is exaggerating but you should think very carefully and do more research/get a second opinion before you do anything.
