I'm a student in my2nd year studying fashion&Textiles, and as it is my final year at college it's getting more expesive as the expenditures for equipment, trips and travel cost jsut keep rolling in and I can't afford to contiune with my studies gutted. The college finances won't help me, i've spent my sumemr holidays going for interviews for a part time job but no success and my dads just been made redundent what can I do?
My advice would be to sign up to do promo work! you can make loads each day!! there are various agencies that you can give your details to and they'll get back to you pretty fast. Try stuckforstaff.com. i think you may have to pay an initial fee of like £15 but you'll get a lot of work back from them pretty quick. Try it and good luck! x
A couple of my friends sell stories to the women's mags. They seem to make good money from it. One of them was about a health problem and another about shopping addiction. They use this agency www.sellmystorydirect.com
You need to contact your college.. if you can provide a bankstatement to prove you have little funds and a letter from your parents saying they do not contibute to your living costs you can apply for a bursary. I got around a 1000 that I wont have to pay back.
Do what TorieBomborie suggests. Also when I was stuck for cash I sold some clothes I didn't ever wear or need on eBay!
