It's very quiet in here so I'm not sure I'll get much response.

I'm wondering if any of you (girls) have ever cried during or after sex. Not because you're upset or your partner has hurt you, but because you were so happy.

This has happened to me twice now with Mr Jess, never before him though. It's very strange, and really quite unlike me.

YES! ive had that, and it wasn't a conscious cry... the tears, and the emotion just ''overwhelmed' me. I guess it's just like a ''higher orgasm'? or the physical pleasure moves into emotional pleasure. Ive also had that with food (just once though). A friend gave me this hand made sweet - it was an arabic delicacy.. not sure what it was, but as i bit into it, tears just welled up... it wasnt tart, or sharp, but it just tasted sooooo good that this emotion just came out of nowhere!

Hi Jess,

I've had this happen quite a few times. I can't say its always 'joy' that makes it happen though in my case- I guess its just the release of hormoes etc. Can be a bit embarrassing if the other party is not sharing the mood!

Yes, once. It had been particularly intense and I just burst in to a huge load of tears after - it really took me by surprise. I think it was the intensity and the release.

Yeah, I've had tears of joy, only ever once mind, on holiday in Turkey with c0ckface in May 08 - had just arrived off the plane, beautiful hotel, the view from our window was the exact brochure view, gorgeous sun, white sheets, and he laid me down and...well, it was all just so good - the surroundings, the excitement at having arrived, the holiday, the actual shaaaaaaag itself....and he was really nice about it, too, wiping my face.

Ironically, the first time I "did myself" after I ditched his sorry arse produced tears of sadness - which surprised the hell out of me! never experienced it before. It had been about 3 months, and I thought I was ready to get back in the saddle, so to speak. But it just reminded me of what I was missing, and as soon as I peaked, I ended up bawling like a baby :embarrassed smiley:. So, hey ho, I just had to keep trying until I was ok again!!! Happy days....
