Subject: Dream Interpretation Thread
Hey Im opening this thread after getting approval from potion for those who want to have their dreams interpreted, as i am willing to do this. Feel free to post or PM me your dreams, and i will be happy to reply and help out. I would like to note that I am NOT a professional. But i have been reading up on dream interpretation since i was about 15 (now 20). I am always interested in it and am willing to help anyone with a dream they are stuck with. I am currently trying to study my own dreams and have always had alot of dreams throughout my life. This is a chance for me aswell to study dreams alittle more, and improve my knowledge even more so. Thankyou Katy X

Interesting.... I had a dream a few weeks ago that I would love to understand. I was in a flat or house that I knew well but discovered an unknown room overlooking a river. When I (along with a couple of friends - but can't remember; don't think they were relevant) went into the room it collapsed into the river. We all got out safely. But this is where it gets strange; within the same dream practically the same thing happened again, a few people went into an unused room and it fell into the same river! It wasn't a falling dream as such, more a feel of the floor collapsing from under me..... What do you think Katy?

Hi Katy I have such vivid dreams every night. I have recurring dreams, dream of places and actually visit them months later, dream in colour, with music..you name it :cmdunno: Always leaves me feeling unrefreshed in the morning. I wondered if you could help me with this particular one..what I remember now is pretty short but is stuck in my mind.. My boyfriend and I were in the car (him driving) down the motorway towards the airport. We were going to pick my mum up as she was coming over from England to France to visit us. I looked up in the sky and noticed a plane. I said to my boyfriend that it's strange how I noticed, it's usually him who notices them. We both looked up at it and it started falling straight down, just falling out of the sky. I said that was strange and as it kept falling towards the ground both our natural instincts told us to duck down and hold onto the car. There was no sound but the car shook a little. There were then a lot more planes in the sky (say five or so) and we just watched as they fell. I told my boyfriend to drive as fast as he could in case one of the planes fell onto us. I rang my mum and luckily she answered her phone as I yelled to her not to get onto the plane. Then I woke up..talking to myself. I live near the airport and whenever I see a plane I watch it to see what happens. I'm also flying back to England tomorrow night and I've freaked myself out so much. The dream was just that vivid to me. When I told my OH he actually said that something had happened in real life. Something about a plane being caught in a patch of air which made the it just drop out of the sky and crash..now that really freaked me out as I'd never heard of such a thing happening, didn't think it was possible :cmdunno:

Hey coolcat, very interesting dream, In response to your dream, I think its something to do with you having to deal with something, or possibly a close friend having to and you not quite being able to take it on. Your allowing youself to let go of it for now, but you subconscious is trying to tell you to deal with it. A personality trait, fear or something new that has been discovered. The collapse part is interesting as it indicates you not trusting your own judgement on this. Alot of emotions appearing in this dream, from the discovery of a new room, new emotions towards something happening. If its a repeatitive dream then its something your not dealing with properly, something new that has been represented, discovery, possibly linked to a close friend. Hope this was of help, please feel free to criticise and let me know if im way off or not. Rachelrachel, will reply with my response as soon as possible.

Hey babe. I liked looking at your dream was very interesting alot happening. Im getting stuff from commitment issues and relationship with boyfriend. You are spiritual and very open minded, as the fact you can hear music and see colours very vividly. As for the dream being a future prediction it is very possible, however i doubt 5 planes are gonna fall from the sky anytime soon. i hope not anyways. I have dreams that are future things, as then a few days after having the dream i experience a de ja vu, and its from the dream i had a few days before. However what i got from this dream is that there is some self reliance upon your boyfriend, or even possible you see your boyfriend as being the one who likes to be in control of the relationship. The fact there where 5 planes that fell after is interesting as 5 sometimes indicates marriage and commitment. Is there maybe a comparison of your relationship towards you mums relationship/marriage? or even to you and your mums relationship. Your mum symbolises being looked after, nurtured and an intuition. Im getting from this dream that maybe your boyfriend is moving too fast in the relationship and your apprehensive, maybe looking for a change? Emotionally or even sexually, something new is wanted and craved. Theres an issue to confront there? That you are frighented of more of a commitment and want to slow down abit. Fearful of whats to come in the relationship, moving to fast. Hope this is of help hunni. Let me know what you think. Katy X

Thanks for your reply Katy. My situation is that I am entering a new relationship but one that is similar in nature to a previous one (involving power exchange) and it is both exciting and scary and may involve new people, not necessarily new friends but very intense meetings in strange surroundings. My take on the dream was that again the control (the drop into the water) was being taken from me but that I would not only survive it but know what to do the second time around....... Just as an aside I had a very vivid dream a few weeks ago when I met a faceless but very dominant man who led me away from a crowd and said "show me your hands". About 4 weeks ago I met a new man - from trhe internet - in a village bar and after chatting for a while we walked away and he said "could you show me your hands".......!!!

Yeh i think i got the jist of it mostly. For that other dream, im presuming you had the dream before you had you met this guy. It could well have been a prediction hun, if your susceptible to that spiritual part then you could have been seeing this in advance. Hands often mean support though. Just a question how did it go with this man? Katy X

I'm really fascinated by dream interpretation! When it comes to me, though, I have a LOT of nightmares. In my dreams I am running away from monsters and sometimes dream of being cut by glass. I also often dream about sitting on a train that's going into London. I also dream of buildings colapsing. I dream of boats and rivers, too. What could this all mean?
