Seagulls nest on the roof of the building next door to me.
Yesterday afternoon I had the windows open while I did some cleaning, I come downstairs and there was a baby seagull sat on the floor. He's obviously attempted to fly and came crashing into my flat.

So I managed to get him onto the window sill and left the window open thinking he'd fly off or his mum would come and find him or something. I come down today and he's still sat there so again, I just left the window open and left him to it.

But just now, I heard some almighty screeching and there was an adult seagull attacking him on my window sill! I shooed away the adult and have pulled the window down for a little while. The baby has a cut on his head from the attack. I'm assuming the adult wasn't one of the parents as surely they wouldn't attack their own young?

Is it worth calling the RSPB? Would they really care about one baby seagull, seeing as they're bloody vermin when they're older?
I don't really know what to do, other than leave the window open and hope he flys away but if he's not getting any food then how will he have the strength to fly off.

I would call them and see what they say - or a local wildlife centre.
