I am looking for Jewellery storage solutions. I have one of those stands where you can hang necklaces and bracelets but I need more ideas - I hate just putting things in a jewellery box as they just end up staying in there. In particular I need ideas of how to store earrings-especially the dangly kind

I just did a google search and found this Earring Storage Caddy - Scotts of Stow http://www.scottsofstow.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product1_17055_-1_18115_10551 which I think is an excellent idea if you have a lot of earrings.

I had this problem until very recently! I had loads of fabulous costume and real jewellery in a tangled mess so got a load of small head tacks and hammered them into the back of one of my wardrobe doors - each tack is now the proud holder of a necklace, bracelet or earrings. I can see at a glance what to wear now! x x

Hi, I have loads and loads of dangly earrings and got one of these on Ebay. It was a bit pricey (around 20 incl P&P) but it looks great and I can see all my lovely earrings all the time so none get forgotten. There are a few different sellers selling them. [http://i17.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/ec/40/e8_1_b.JPG] For necklaces, belts and silk scarves I hang them all over one of these type of towel rails which sits on my raditor and keeps them all hanging neat and tidy [http://img.kelkoo.com/uk/medium/920/618/00162894397226187538875403793040782618920.jpg] I have one of these spikes (for keeping receipts together) in wood which I keep all my bangles and bracelets on. I ordered a load off stuff from Acrylic Jewellery Displays | Jewellery Display Cases & Stands | Jewellery Gift Boxes https://www.jewellery-displays.com/default.asp - now my dressing room looks like a jewellery shop!

I have my earrings hanging on a ribbon that goes across my mirror in two scallops. I have an antique dressing table with the wing mirrors where I hang all my necklaces. I went to a friends house on the weekend and she uses Well Mesh (that wire used for fences that makes a diamond pattern) She has a piece of that hanging on her wall and hooks her earrings on. I also use fancy wine glasses, tops of vases etc to hang earrings, and my bangles are stacked on candles

I was reading Chat or Take a Break a few weeks ago and someone had sent in a hand hint about keeping jewellery in those plastic pockets you get in to keep letters in like this: [img]http:// " /> connected by ribbon and hanging it on the back of a door. so, you know, if you were really desperate and had a taste bypass, you could go for that. 0 handbaggers thanked Kelso for this contribution.

Hi girls Was about to make a new thread but saw this one so bumping it. For all you out there that own a lot of chunky bangles.. how do you store them? I read about the candle but because I've got about 15 chunky bangles that are all pretty wide, that would fill up a lot of candles! At the mo im storing them in an old thorntons chocolate box. Although the box is nice, heart shaped and padded, i would like a proper storage area for these, but they just take up so much room! Ideas anyone?!

What about a nice looking toilet roll holder? Or a paper towel one? You know the ones that sit on the floor and have a vertical pole? You could paint one to make it look bedroomy, but I reckon you could get a nice one anyway. Just plain chrome or something.

I found a website today while surfing the web. Web address is www.cleverestjewelbox.com http://www.cleverestjewelbox.com . They claim to have the "ultimate" jewellery storage solution. Their products have not launched yet so they need you to register with them so you can be notified of the launch. I have registered with them and waiting for their launch. Definitely worth checking them out.

Hi I came across this site whilst googling jewellery solutions (bangles specifically) and had to join in order to reply to your plea. I had enough one day and decided to hammer a load of nails in my wall (in hind sight I should have went for nice hooks, but oh well!). It has solved my problem without doubt and I often get complimented on how nice it actually looks (you don't notice the nails lol) It does fill up really quick though...I'm without doubt extending mine as I have far too many on each one now. I really like the earring hanger from ebay that's been posted here...may give that a go. Anyone got any other ideas for bangles though? I don't find candles, etc display them very well.

For bangles, what about one of those stands for holding cups and mugs? They look a bit like a tree. You might have to paint it or something to go with your decor, but they would work well, and be easy to take on and off.
