Subject: Sleeping advice needed??
Hi all

I can't take it any more....

I've been with bf for just over a year and been living with him for 5 months. Since I've been living with him. Has mentioned this before but now he sleeps with me everynight. He says he can't take it any more... Heres the problem:-

I either breathe very heavyerly all night as he's a light sleep ( he doesn't like ear plugs as he can hear his heart etc and when he uses them he says the ear plugs keep him awake ) or I'm making a clicking/poping noise when I'm in a deep sleep. At first I didn't understand what he meant but then he recorded me on his phone and yes he was right. I've tried nose strips but as my problem is I breathe through my mouth. As much as I want when I'm lying down I can't seem to sleep with my mouth shut.

For other a week now we've been sleeping seperately either on the sofa or in our bed we take it turns.

He says if I could just learn to shut my mouth and breathe using my nose I won't have a problem. As much as I try I can't seem to do it. It's just driving me mad.

Oh and I should mention my dad has sleep apnea. But he snores all the time and I don't snore??

Any help or advice would be great.

Thanks
Jenniewb

Think maybe try your doctor? not sure if we are allowed to give medical advice on here. If its something that gets in the way of you living a happy and fairly normal life (eg sleeping with your partner) then get some medical help and advice. There are many sleep conditions and although not all of them are cureable, some of them are.
Blah blah blah
