Hi Halley!
I have mid-length very curly hair and while it is thick, it is fairly soft so has a tendency to droop when all want are big volumised curls! i apply a creamy product to take out the frizz and diffuse my hair every morning but I can never get that big bouncy look I see on other girls. Any advice?

I've been losing my hair for the last few years due to medical reasons, are there any colours/styles that I could use which would better disguise this problem?

I have tried many treatments for thinning hair but none of them seem to make any difference in the long run, they just seem to add volume rather than the regrowth that they seem to promise. I dont really like my hair too long as the weight seems to pull it down and make the thinning more obvious as it's mainly from the top of my head but I really would love something easy to manage that would help hide the problem or at least make me less selfconcious about it anyway.

Thank you for any suggestions you can give me

Hi Halley, I'm always a bit sceptical about the advice that you should get your hair cut every six weeks in order to make it grow faster. Is there any truth in this? I understand the benefits, as it keeps your hair in a healthy condition - but does it really make your hair grow longer? Do you have any advice on how to get your hair to grow quickly?
Also, I have a fringe - I want to grow it out though - what's your tips for growing out your fringe? Mine's big and chunky, so sweeping it to one side just doesn't work!
Thanks MF xx

Hi Halley!

I moved to another city a few years ago and haven't been able to find a stylist yet who has been able to match the one in my hometown. It feels like every time I go to get my hair cut, the stylist doesn't listen to what I'm asking for - my hair is fine, shoulder length and has lots of choppy layers, but it seems they never cut it right!

So, I guess what I'm asking is - what are your tips for choosing a good stylist and how can the client help tell the stylist exactly what they want?

Hi!

I straighten my hair every day, am I still doing it a lot of damage even if I use a good conditioner and a heat treatment product, or is it safe to carry on using them so often? Also, what do you think are the best heat treatment and frizz fighter out there right now?

Thankyou!

Hi, I love keeping my hair long (it's practically touching my behind!) and volume is still essential to me, so when I go out I usually curl it using rollers and tongs, but I find it drops within the first hour, I'm assuming due to the weight of it. Do you have any tips on products or techniques to use to get the volume and curl to last longer please? My rollers are heated and I am spraying my curls with hairspray with my head upside down to finish it. I'm quite willing to use everything I can at every stage of the styling process if necessary, anything to make it last longer than a taxi ride to town! I love it big and bouncy Thanks, Jade x

Hi Halley! What's your favourite style to create for fashion shows? And how can I recreate a catwalk style on my shoulderlength hair? It's pretty much one length with a sideswept fringe and I'd love to give it more of a high-fashion edge this summer. x

Hi Halley,

I have quite thin, fine hair that is cut into an a symmetric bob. I like to back comb it when I go out and go for big hair. I use a mousse and hair spray but it tends to drop out quite easily and becomes quite flat. Have you go any recommendations for a good mousse and hairspray or any other products which would help my hair stay big and in place?

Thanks

L x
