I'm sat here covered in camomile lotion fidgeting like a loon.

I was up all last night scratching all over my body and came out in this huge rash. It was unbearable, I was in tears this morning as it spread to my face. So I went to the doctors and she made me feel like a prize moron. Of course the rash had gone down by then so she thought I was exaggerating and told me to go buy, basically hayfever tablets.

Now I'm home and the rash is back with a vengence! I think I've had a reaction to this Contac stuff I was taking for a stinking cold I had last week after I read the side effects.

One of the bf's friends is coming down today and I think the plan was to go to Southampton for a night out. I guess I'm staying home looking like a ghost. [http://community.handbag.com/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cry.gif]

Did you get the antihystamines? They will really help with the itching. Sorry you're feeling so crap.. allergic reactions really suck. Hope you feel better soon x

Yeah I got some tablets and they've helped a lot, haven't scratched at all since I had one. Did find some ruddy anti-hystamines in the cupboard as well when I got home though, typical.
I'm just glad the rash has gone from my face, thats what made me panic the most. I had to run to the doctors hiding underneath a hat and scarf

ahh you poor bebe
is it hives? i have had those twice, my eyes and head swelled up - weirdly, it made me look better cos it puffed out my wrinkles. itchy is hell though - mine was in reaction to penicillin
take pics if it comes back up - my doc didnt see the rash but he did refer me to an allergy clinic, and so should yours espec if its a possible reaction to medicine. thats really important to find out whats going on cos you might get treated with something in future and get a dangerous reaction.
Go back and tell the bitch what Nato said.

haha itchy red faced puffy lady! I'm making that my superhero name.

I googled it and it does look like hives. Its no where near as bad as it was but little bits crop up every now and then. Like now I looked down to see my forearm bright red but its not itchy and not raised bumps anymore.
