And no, I'm not talking about pointing the hairdryer at your fanjita after a wax!

I have my hair chemically straightened a couple of times a year and my hairdresser is raving about this new (ish) treatment that straightens and deep conditions.

Anyone know anythign about it/had it? It's very expensive so don't want to waste my cash if it's not up to snuff.

My nickname in my old job was Crystal Tips! I have the same curly affliction.
I've not had a brazilian blow dry but have heard good things...I'm sure there have been some old threads on here about them actually.

Well I had it done, downside is that I can't wash my hair till Wednesday at the earliest - skanky.

Oooh how does it look mrs skanky hair? How much was it in the end?
How different is it to permanent straightening? I am all about the questions here but I have haystack-hair so I'm allowed.

I washed my hair today.

Never thought that sentence would bring me soooo much joy!

well, the result is lovely - took me just a fwe minuted to blow dry just using my fingers, no brush. The condition is brilliant and best of all, it's stayed in place all day. to quote a pharse I look like I've just stepped out of a salon!

If it stays like this, I'll be a total convert for sure.

It was 90 Snoops/Angie, and I have short hair so it is verrrrrry pricey. It's not permanent though, lasts about 2 - 3 months.
