Strudel, a pet spider - that's cool! Are you going to name it?? I don't mind spiders personally, but I do remember reading the most stomach churning thing - that each person swallows something like an average of 3 spiders a year, as they get into our moths when we sleep.

i dont believe this but i have been told it a few times. my reckoning is that a spider is like anything else trying to avoid being eaten itself and they navigate away from giants mouths by reading the CO2 we produce while breathing. which is how mosquitoes find us, other little things use it to avoid us.
i know, we can test it. whos brave enough to breathe on a spider to see if it runs off or jumps into your mouth?
but i did read that 8% of bread is insect matter.
and im vegetarian and all
