Yes yes it's only thursday but I'm off in a minute. At York races this weekend troughing and slurping. Well actually the troughing and slurping starts tonight at the hotel, then races tomorrow where there will be the lovelyist seefood table, champagne flowing and the hugest selection of cheeses I see all year. Have the most ridiculously high heels to try and balance on all day which could be an issue.
Back on Saturday though and probably wont need to eat for the rest of the weekend, although just had a load of broad beans in todays veg box so if I can get hold of some peas (or may just leave them out) will be doing the mashed pea bruschetta thing - blitz them with some parmesan, pepper, sour cream or creme fraiche and either basil or mint, lemon juice and spread on some lightly toasted crusty type bread, nom, nom - even better topped with some buffalo mozarella and crispy proscuitto.
