I used to only ever wear americantan tights hence my screan name LOL but recently I bought some grey opaque tights in ASDA and I just love them but what I am looking for now is any were that sells 10 or 15 dennier grey tights if any one knows of any high street shop or a shop in glasgow that sells thin grey tights i would be delighted take care allxxx

I would have thought that every high street store would sell tights. I really like glossy tights, although grey IS quite a difficult colour to get hold of, maybe it's not so fashionable any more?

I'd say that most places have grey tights, they are pretty much always fashionable every year. Most departments stores or high street shops will have them. You might struggle getting the denier you want though, as most shops have 40d or higher.

well i have changed my name now due to the fact i have started wearing grey tights but still cannot source a shop in the glasgow area that sells grey tights in 10 or 15 dennier well heres hoping if ne 1 can help it would be appreciated

Most shops that sell a decent selection of tights will sell tights in Nearly Black, this usually looks grey. Don't confuse with Barely Black which is extremely dark brown though!

thanks pauline the shade im am really looking for used to be called smokey grey i think i will just have to keep looking if i find a shop that sells them i will probs buy all there stock LOL ne way if any of you girls know were i can buy smokey grey tights in 10 15 or even 20 dennier please let me know other wise it will be back to my old favorets americantan in the summer and spring months once autum comes round i can get grey opaques easily enough xxx

Oh yeah, I remember smoky grey, it WAS all the rage, didn't the manufacturer change the name to pewter or gunmetal grey, something like that is tugging at my memory, but I haven't been in the UK for years so i don't know if this is still continued
