Hi i need advice,about my 7yr old boy who is very badly behaved much of the time. One of my older friends from nearby says that in her day, moms often Petticoated their naughty sons,by makeing them wear girls clothes for a while at home,and this would calm them down and improve their behavior. I have to agree with sab628, I'm afraid. Dressing a little boy up in girls clothes is cruel and humiliating. I also really think this thread should be deleted. It sounds like child abuse to me. I support a children's charity, so I don't think they'd approve of such a nasty idea.

I would try a good old fashioned smack, before going down the road of cross dressing them!!!!!! Personally, I think theh idea sounds a little wacky - but then again, I'm not a fan of the 'naughty step' or 'having time out' or any of the other American nonsense that seems to have filtered through to parenting these days.......
