Admin/Hosties - WHY WON'T YOU TELL US WHAT'S GOING ON?

A simple enough question - all we want is a simple answer.
The forums have been allowed to die a long, slow, painful death - yet you want us to vote for Handbag to receive an award?
I know I've posted and even emailed offering my services as a host to help things, and to know what's going on - even if it's just to be told that maybe a relaunch or something is in the pipeline. And I know I can't possibly be the only one who's asked.
But no response. Just deafening silence. And to be quite frank it's an insult.
We, your readers/posters have kept this site going. If it wasn't for us, you'd have nobody to keep the site going for. And what do we get in return? Silence. I wouldn't even treat my worst enemy with the ambivalence and ignorance you now show your users.
Go on admin - prove you care. Prove you give a damn about this once thriving site.
Stop insulting us by begging us to vote for the site.
Either do something positive - or just close the forums once and for all.
It will just fall on deaf ears as usual though

They won't reply, they never do...
And that's what's SO frustrating - I typed that pretty much knowing it wouldn't get a response but I just wanted to say it: either tell us what's going on or just shut the forums down. Hearst Digital are treating users who WANT to keep this place going, with absolute contempt.
I know - its almost unbelievable isnt it. I have never heard of a large company simply ignoring people in this way.
Its embarrassing, shocking and infuriating.
There must be people laughing out there (rival companies etc).

Ha! Handbag.com editor Debbie Djordjevic is on Twitter as 'scaredcrows'. Could I suggest that all of us who care about these forums and who use Twitter 'follow' her on there, and ask her what's going to happen to the community? Then we might - just might! - get an answer.
It is frustrating I whole heartedly agree... I can't bear the page loads, it just takes too long and i'm still the post not being posted straight away and then it's another 6-9 seconds to refresh, 6-9 seconds to come out of the thread and 6-9 seconds to go back in again just to view it.
The host team know just as much as you lot as far as i'm aware.. i'm hoping that the changes that we were promised happen soon.

Well the longer this sorry saga drags on, Hearst Digital are fast losing the little remaining goodwill of the few remaining users, and the more money and effort they'll have to spend on PR and advertising to get the place going again.
What's going on with this place Admin?
