I've tried to collate all comments so far but in an effort to speed up the process, could you please keep feedback to this thread (no discussion please!) so I can report issues quickly to the relevent teams for fixing.

Fixed issues
Avatars too small: Fixed - to have a bigger avatar, just re-upload it. Private message title length too short: extended to 100 chars. Inserting images from other websites: You can do this by click and dropping the image into the post box. Email notification: They are turned on, make sure communities@ukhandbag.com is in your email safe list. Previewing a post: Last button on the right in the text box, next to "toggle fullscreen mode". No html allowed: html was never allowed Jump to last page of thread: clicking on "xx minutes ago" link in "latest post" column will do that Friends: Unfortunately you'll have to re-add friends. However you'll find the new system works a lot better. Names on profile: Doesn't display. Add New Post button at bottom of thread: all this does is flick the page down to the quick reply box at the bottom of the page. Not sure have another button just above the quick reply is necessary. Spell check: now supplied from within the post box Start new thread button missing from forum in IE: Fixed Bullet points overlapping to the left: fixed. Log out link on right not working: fixed Who'se online in individual forums: gone for now. We got complaints about privacy. New posts in thread: this is indicated by the star Location on members list: removed until it becomes editable. Polls: fixed Banner colour changing: fixed Delete post popup: fixed Email notification for threads: icon at top of threads Fonts in headers: made smaller Sigs merging with post: dividing line added Grey post boxes ugly: now white
post Font too small: increased and darkened and changed font Report profile button not displaying in FF: fixed Who'se online displaying wrong profile: fixed. Featured member not respecting profile privacy setting: fixed Profile Avatar needs tweaking: fixed Smilies: uploaded - might need to clear your cache to see them New post/other links redirecting to homepage: should be fixed - might need to wait 30mns for change to go through Photos not displaying on photo page in FF 3.0.9: seems to be more a problem with the widget not returning a result as a refresh fixes it. Setting as fixed for now as provider researching general slowness issues. Forum jump needs spacing: done Open links in new window - done - will only apply to links posted from today onwards General slowness: should be fixed? Need quoted reply in PMs: In next iteration of software due shortly Latest activity links go to 1st page of thread: fixed
PMs not loading in IE6, reply not working in IE8, FF3.0.10: IE - problem will be fixed with imminent upgrade of new software. FF seems to be due to needing a Flash upgrade, avaiable here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ New post going back to 1st thread page: fixed

I've come past just to see if there are any updates whatsoever, but surprise, surprise there are none.
You should be thouroughly ashamed of destroying what was once a lively and interesting community, because I really believe it's gone for good now.
The support and advice I have received from the bag over the years has been invaluable, and I'm just sorry to know this is no longer available for other women.
Whatever upgrades and changes are made now, it's simply too late. Loyalty only buys you so much and the good name of Handbag has been ruined.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. All I can say is that things ARE happening, just very slowly. We have a couple of upgrades about to go through (beyond the redesign I posted a while back) which will address the lack of a category link and marking all posts as read in a forum, and we've got the reputation system set up in the background and almost ready. We'll be going ahead with all of this, so please do check back in to see whether they help make the experience a bit better.

Hi TRD, yes that's caused by our server setup - apparently the people hosting them have it set up in such a way that our providers can't "get in" and fix the issue. Mid to end August they are moving everything over to another hosting provider and this problem and many others such as the disappearing and reappearing posts problem should then be fixed.

Well I came to have a look for this thread tonight to look for any updates and the bloody thing had moved. Which is a tad frustrating when I had an email alert set up to let me know when there were any new replies....
