I'm close to finishing my first book and want to start sending it out to publishers. It's an erotic novel so I'm going to send it to Black Lace but according to their website it can take 8-9 months for them to read it! 
Is it OK to send it out to a number of publishers at the same time? And where can I find a list publishers who specialise in this genre? Would it be a good idea to send it to agents as well? Many thanks for any advice.
