Enjoy the festival season everyone! I won't be going to any festival myself [they're not really my thing], but it should be a blast for everyone who does go. Don't forget the wellies!
I'm off to Greenman in Wales. Never heard of it before, but a couple of friends are going so I decided to tag along for sh*ts and giggles really.
I was rather dramatically upset about not being able to go to Beach Break this year but kind of glad now as they've buggered it all up.

Am going to Rockness this weekend but only for one day with no camping! Will probably go to Belladrum as well.
I'm going to Global Gathering for the 5th maybe 6th year in a row!! So excited as didnt think we would make it this year, but i managed to get the time off to be able to fly back. Usually would go to a few more smaller ones over the summer, but won't be happening this year

I am going to Glastonbury, Reading Festival, Global Gathering and V Festival this year!!! Very expensive but its going to be great! Cant wait!!!! I think V festival has an amazing line up this year, but there is a clash of Fat Boy Slim and The Killers on at the same time!!! I dont no what to do!!!!!!
I am off to Sziget in Budapest this year again. Went last year and it was the BEST festival have ever been to. Cheap, clean, plenty of facilities, great bands and SUN!!!
Cannot wait!

Cactusgirl, my friend went to Sziget last year and he LOVED it. I really want to go next year, maybe get some interrailing in as well!
I went to the Reading festival last year, as I have been doing for the last 6 years.... and I thought it was rubbish. It might be just me getting old (and more boring) but I just thought that there were so many kids running around acting like animals, it wasn't as fun as it used to be. Although the sight of my mate emerging from a portaloo to realise that there was a guy on the roof beating the thing like a drum was very amusing....
So, this year, I am off to three smaller fest's: Truck (in Oxford), LoveBoxx and Field Day in London. Field Day was amazing last year, especially Laura Marling's set. Does anyone else have any recommendations for smaller festivals?

You have to be a disabled person or a disabled person's support worker for the volunteering that I am doing I'm afraid.
Although I guess you could volunteer as a steward, not sure how you'd go about it though. Sorry I'm not more helpful.
