I would not wish what happened to this lady on anyone, but I expect the documentary from what I have seen on the snippets, to show how she has changed, (personality, outlook on life) as a result of the experience and how people now react to her.
What I don't think the documentary will show, is what sort of a person she was before the incident. ie did she do a lot of work in the community work?, Was she vain?, did she turn her nose up at people who she regarded were beneath her?, Or was she a positive role model in the community.

She's from my town, I think maybe 1 or 2 years above me at one of the rival schools.

I think it will show what she was like before or at least her talking about how she used to be because it relates to how she is now and how her life has changed after what those horrendous men did to her.

Inredibly brave of her to come out of anonimity and speak about it.

I think she is really brave, but being honest an open, i'm sure there is a small financial inducement for telling her story

Of course she's getting paid but no doubt the money is needed for her care so why shouldn't she sell her story.

And if it helps just one person then it can only be a good thing.

I thought it was heartbreaking. Katie is really brave to carry on with her life through a horrific and painful ordeal. This girl was not just physically but mentally scarred too.

What struck me through the documentary was how evil some people can be, not only the boyfriend but the man who through the acid in her face!
