I've just finished reading this book and have been left with one question.... what happened to the little boy with the strawberry birth mark on his face? He was involved at the beginning but disappeared later?
I was expecting him to put in an appearance towards the end of the book when Piggy asked where he was.... but nothing.
I've spent the last half hour flicking through but I can't find an answer...anyone know?
