I'd say first to relax and not try to lose the weight too quickly. It may sound boring and slow, but the best way to lose weight really is the old fashioned way: sensible eating and exercise. When I've wanted to lose a few inches I've found that making little changes really helps, more than launching straight into some punishing regime.

For example, choosing reduced-fat dairy products instead of full-fat, eating less sugary breakfast cereals, fewer sweets and so on. If you cut your calories drastically, that's when you get the headaches, cravings and all that rubbish. A little bit of what you fancy does you good, as long as you keep it to a little (not that i'm much good on that front!)

Then there's the exercise part. Again the small changes, otherwise you risk hurting yourself. Try walking more, or take up a dance class, that's what I did.

Hope you find this useful xx

Drink plentry of water as this will not only give you great skin but will also fill you up more so you eat less and feel less hungry.

Try cutting out alcohol as this carries loads of calories.

Definately try and do more exercise but as diddymac suggests nothing too radical. Maybe swimming as there is little chance of hurting yourself and begin to walk more.

Make sure you drink No Added Sugar squash too. I was amazed that the M&S hugh juice has approx 100 cals in each glass!!!

Good luck.

eat more fibre (this means grains and green veg)
eat more veg
eat smaller portions
move more
eat less sugar this means jucies and fizzy juices
drink more water and tea (without sugar)
eat clean, this means lean meats, veg some fruit, grains, grill your meat have healthy sauces ans skip creamy ones., nuts and.seeds
dont cut any one food out just eat a balance and eat to satisfy you not so you feel overly full.

do not skip breakfast, youll only crave sugar later.

houmous, natural yoghurt and cottage cheese are your friends/

keep a food diary to get a sense of what you really are eating and read it back through the week what stands out?
