Heyyy everyone. I'm starting slimfast today. Need to lose some of this very annoying weight. Need to lose about 4 stone and i've tried many other diets and nothing else works. Hopefully it will work. I've read quite a few reviews on it, and 80% are sucessful so i'm going to have a go .

Just had my first strawberyy milkshake for the day and i'm feeling really positive. I'm allowed up to 3 slimfast bars, another milkshake and a healthy evening meal. Got to try and drink 2litres of water today and that will be a challenge in itself.

Just wondering if anyone on here has taken on the slimfast diet before and how you got on?

I'll keep you updated every day

hi there
i started slim fast on mon and have found it really good way of keeping a check on my calories
i have a shake for brekkie, a 99cal or less bar for snack then another shake for lunch and a piece of fruit for afternoon snack, then a good healthy tea i have also started the gym too on monday

Hi, I started slim fast on the 1st October this year and have lost 2 stone so far. At first i wasn't in the mood to diet but i've stuck at it and am now really into it. I haven't even had my first mince pie of the season yet, which is amazing. I'm still having a couple of glasses of wine when i want and don't really feel i'm missing out on anything. I can really tell with my clothes now as well which is a boost. Hope you guys are still on it. Good luck, keep me updated and i'll do the same.

Hi! I am also doing Slim Fast and actually have more weight to lose than you do! I just wanted to comment on your snacks - you say you are allowed three Slim Fast bars as snacks. Although the bars are nice, I don't think you should eat three a day - they do contain a lot of sugar, and you will have more success if you substitute fruit for a few of them (an apple has half the calories of a Slim Fast bar) because you will feel fuller afterwards. Fibre is also a concern; you need to make sure you are getting enough because two thirds of your meal intake is now liquid.
Asda's banoffee Vitality bars are also lower in calories than a SF chocolate bar.
Try to think of SF as a low calorie diet and think up your own ways to snack within your 1350 calorie daily limit. This will really help you when you eventually come off Slim Fast (or get sick of it). For example, on weekends I have two eggs and a piece of soya and linseed toast, or asparagus and eggs, instead of my shake.
I vary the diet at weekends and have still lost 9lb in just over two weeks.
