Subject: Giving it a go on here
Hello, I have also posted this on 'Healthy Eating' forum but hae seen some really good comments on here too so thought I would post on 'slimming' too!

Hello everyone.
I have never posted before so this is all a bit new to me!
I am a bit unhappy with my weight. I am 5.6" and 9 stone 8lbs. I know it's far from overweight but I have always been 8 and a half to 9 stone so I feel heavier than I should be.
I thought posting on here might help me to motivate myself. I am very keen on exercise, I do about 2 40 minute workouts a week and sometimes run and swim. I go to the gym and also do high energy workout DVDs. Im not sure where I am going wrong, I do eat a lot of fruit so this could be the problem?! I am also vegetarian. I would welcome any cmments about my food diary!

Today:
B - 60g porridge oats with skimmed milk & water. Cup of tea no sugar.

Snack - 2 apples. Cup of tea.

L - 60g basmalti rice and butternut squash.
I had 2 apples for another snack and a coffee with ss milk and sweetner

D - 2 choc snack-a-jacks, bunch of grapes and options hot chocolate. Not great I know but couldn't be bothered cooking! How lazy!

I won't have any thing else now.

maybe cut down your oats and add nuts adn seeds or even nut butter, as a vegetarian you do need your proteins.

add yoghurts, humous and more pulse based protein to your diet.

you could try brown rice, bulger wheat adn couscous to your diet too and more green veg
