Hey all,

I just wondered what people preferred to use as an online weight loss tracker. I know there are a few and I have just been doing some random googling and found this one: http://www.nutracheck.co.uk/

You get charged though and I know there are a few good ones out there for free.

Any recs?

I think a wee geeky tool like this would help keep me interested and motivated. I am already quite active it's just my diet that lets me down.

Cheers,

SB

A lot of folks use www.weightlossresources.co.uk http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk which is excellent but not free. You can do a 24 hour free trial, though.

Hello!

I found that The Daily Plate is a good site for tracking calories and fat etc and you can record you weight loss on it too. It has lots of pie charts/graphs etc which is good for stats geeks

http://www.thedailyplate.com/

And it's free for the basic service (which is really all you need I think!)

I've just set myself up on daily plate on your rec.
It's cool, you can get really geeky about the details of what you have done and ate.

skinnyr is good and you can get a free version and one you pay for. Its a widget you can put on your desktop that tracks your weight as a graph.

I use medhelp.org and mynetdiary.com - both are free. My Net Diary is particularly good if you have an iPhone or Blackberry.

I am currently using sparkpeople and finding it really good. It tracks all sorts of things like daily fitness, amount of water drunk and other goals you set yourself, not just your calories. For example, my doctor thinks I have IBS and need to lower my fibre content - so I track how much fibre I eat each day too. Plus it's completely free.
