Kai is a lovely name but why the wayne in the middle..spoils it.
Dreadful, what ever happened to normal names such as David and James.
To me, its a Welsh name, and I don't mind it.

What's wrong with the name Kai? It's a perfectly normal name, I happen to know two Kai's.
It's giving him Wayne as a middle name that's the problem.

I actually think it's quite sweet to give him his dad's name as a middle name, although if my boyfriend was called Wayne, maybe i'd think differently
Not my sort of name choice. I agree, it's nice to use the father's name as a midlle name, but unfortunate it happens to be Wayne!

I don't think Kai is an unusual name? I know two people called Kai aswell. I like it.
I don't like the name Wayne, but daddy Waynes dad is called Wayne so it's a family tradition. I've said Wayne too many times.

I like it. I first heard it years ago cos I have a cousin in Australia called Kai, so I thought maybe it was an Australian name. But that was 40 odd years ago.
More recently my daughters brother is called Logan Kai, so I like it.
