Ahhh Dazzling you beat me to it, I just posted a thread with the same link! I'm surprised, it's definitely unexpected and it would be a very sick PR stunt!
I'm so shocked too. I mean I know he's not led exactly what you would call an ordinary life but he's only 50.

I saw someone's status on facebook about this but didn't believe it so looked it up and changed the channel to sky news. Still can't believe because it's come out of nowhere. I did think his tour would never go ahead but didn't think it would be because of this.
I posted in GC. There are no confirmed reports either way. He was rushed to hospital but no word from his family or medical staff as yet. He was reported to be unresponsive when the paramedics arrived....

I'm watching Sky News and it was saying he's in a coma but they've now had it confirmed by the LA times, LA law enforcement office and the press office. What a tragic time for him to die, right when he was back in the public eye properly and planning his come back.

I'm in shock. I refused to buy tickets for any date other than the first one on the tour because I didn't think he would be able to do so many dates but I didn't think it would end like this
My best friend rang me early this morning to tell me, i hadn't seen the news at all. I am very shocked and sad ,which surprised me too.I didn't think he would do his concerts but not because he would not be on this earth to do them! Very sad.

Another one who is shocked - and more upset than I thought I'd be. I was a HUGE fan when I was younger, I had a MJ scap book and everything. Although I haven't followed him for years I admit to sheding a wee tear. Part of my childhood gone.

I don't feel that shocked tbh. Such a bizarre life, it seems almost like this is the only way it would end. He looked so ill recently, I never believed he'd do those concerts, he didnt look capable.
