Now that winter is here and after the excesses of the party season, we're looking for your opinions on how important it is to moisturise your skin.
Do you have a strict moisturising routine? What would stop you from moisturising, and what are your concerns about including moisturiser in your beauty routine?
Do you skip moisturiser because you've heard it dries out your skin in later life? Are you concerned that using moisturiser too often will cause your skin to be oily or break out? Or are you concerned that you're not moisturising enough?
We want your moisturiser worries for forthcoming beauty features, so let us know by posting a reply here.

I've been moisturing since my late teens (now in my late thirties). I've always had the sort of skin that feels tight after washing and I was never prone to spots.
I moisturise every morning and use a night cream too, plus lately I've been trying a eye cream at night. This is because despite not having wrinkles around my eyes, I do wear contact lens so eventually skin will loosen there so I'm trying to prevent.
I use the Vitamin C range from The Body Shop. Works very well for me. However, must point out that I work for them so I use Body Shop stuff for all my skin care/make up etc.

It has to be Decleor, I have really oily skin and had tried everything to tame it. Decleor managed to control the excess oil in a matter of days. I'll never use anything else.

I guess I have a strickt moisturising routine:every morning and eveving I clean my face with moisturising lotion, then I apply eye cream, serum and moisturiser. I use Estee Lauder products.
If my skin would become oily I would stop using moisturiser. I don't believe it will do any harm. You won't stop using cream in later life... Water can dry the skin out more than anything else. As long as my skin feels and looks good I'm not changing anything.

This harsh cold snap we have had has played havoc on my skin.
My normal moisturers is no longer effective and my skin is parched, peeling and dry. Does anybody have any product ideas for super dry skin? I need something that really locks in moisture and lasts all day.

Morning and evening and if required, during the day too. As soon as my skin starts to feel a little tight. That has managed to keep the dryness down for me during this cold snap. Drinking lots of water has helped too as central heating can dry your skin out too.

I think it's very important to moisturise your face skin. Moisturising routine should be in the mornings and evenings.Sometimes I skip moisturiser in the evening if I am too tired or in a "giving up with looks" mood. The amount of a moisturiser you use daily is not always clear in the instructions. I try not to over do it and save the expensive moisturiser for longer.

Moisturising the skin morning and night helps keep your skin supple and feeling nice.
i drink lots of water which is also good for my skin, in the winter it seems to need more care with central heating drying my skin. I also mosturise round my eyes.

It's important to moisturise regularly, hormonal changes play havoc with your skin. Problem is, there are too many different types and brands out there. Which is best for me??????
