Have you read the book, seen the original Swedish film, or the recent remake? I saw the remake tonight, and enjoyed it quite a lot, but as I had wanted to see the Swedish version and never got round to it I'm wondering which I'd have preferred if I'd seen it first. Having not read the book, I found some of the plot of the film confused me and wasn't explained as much as it could have been.
The books are on my 'to buy' list! I would like to see the film but think I'll hold out and read the books first 
I bought the books for my mother and she absolutely raved about them! I'm trying to get through the first book but struggling a bit so far - apparently it gets better. 
Not seen either of the films yet, I'd like to read the books first... I'd love to know which is better though, the Swedish ones or the English ones? (So far, I'm not seeing Daniel Craig as Blomqvist...)

I think I prefer the Swedish version on this one
