I become increasingly disinterested in this time of year - unless I get an interesting invitation I may just curl up at home and watch Jools Holland lol. Anyone celebrating in style this year?

I spent the evening with my mother - not exactly lively or exciting! We raised a glass of bubbly at midnight and watched comedy shows on TV.

So not dramatic, but at least enjoyable and a lot cheaper than going out!

Our evening was really good with our neighbours. I'm not up for partying at New Year so it was right up my street. We watched a bit of tv, had a lovely meal and saw the New Year in before coming home
